I used to be friends with a girl who lived in a luxury apartment building. I still remember walking into the lobby for the first time and being completely in awe of the interior design.
At the time, I had no idea that moment would become part of a much bigger story.
Fast forward a few years—we’re no longer friends, but I now work in that very same luxury apartment building.
I would’ve never guessed that going to a specific church, meeting a group of girls, connecting with one of them, and visiting her home would eventually lead me to my current job.
If I had never met her, I probably never would’ve known that building existed. I never would’ve thought to create content for them or pitch myself for an opportunity there. And I would’ve never met the Leasing Manager who referred me and helped get my foot in the door.
It’s funny how life works. Sometimes the people who come into your life aren’t meant to stay forever, but they still play an important role in your story.
I’m grateful for the twists and turns—the things that worked out and the things that didn’t—because every experience has guided me to exactly where I needed to be.
