A Broadcasting & Communications major, I started my fashion blog, The Midi Maven, in 2016 where I shared my journey to celebrity styling, love for midi dresses and Christian faith.
In 2018, I took a break to focus on my mental health and have been on a healing and rediscovery journey since then.
Now, I’m focused on doing the things I love and staying true to who I am – helping people look and feel their best while pursuing their most authentic and abundant lives through faith and style.
I’m passionate about Mental Health and Holistic wellbeing because I realized in my healing journey that wellness includes all areas of life – whether it’s work, relationships, spirituality or any other tenet.
I hope you resonate with the lessons I’ve learned and join me on this journey to living more authentically! ❤️
During my visit to Dallas, I visited the Southern European-inspired restaurant called Paradiso. Located in Bishop Arts, Paradiso is a restaurant situated in an idyllic shaded garden with a beautiful outdoor patio and even more beautiful interior, design concept from Exxir Hospitality.
The menu features dishes from the wood-fired grill, fresh pastas, and seafood.

Give a cute, girly vibe to your look with this skater dress. Skater dresses are known for flattering hourglass figures and accentuating natural curves. This skater dress is no exception to the rule with its fitted bodice and flared skirt.
I kept it casual with sneakers but you can also pair this skate dress with heels for your next night out for a throw-on-and-go look that will also turn heads.

The Wakanda event was held at Industria Studios during NYFW, and was the end product of Disney and Marvel approaching seven designers and asking them to create a look inspired by the groundbreaking film\’s ethereal alternate world.
Chromat was tapped by Disney and Marvel Studios to design a custom, one-of-a-kind look inspired by Black Panther.
But instead of designing the garment herself, Chromat founder Becca McCharen-Tran tasked her former intern and current employee Aremu, who is an immigrant and of Nigerian heritage.

This was such a moment to see our culture represented at Fashion Week and I intentionally wore a custom made dress of ankara print in anticipation!
Several designers were also highlighted in the presentation including Laquan Smith, Cushnie Et Ochs, Tome, Sophie Theallet and Brother Vellies.

Christian Siriano studied in London under the direction of fashion luminaries Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen. He launched his career one year after winning season 4 of Project Runway, and is best known for luxury womenswear and statement red carpet moments for more than ten years.
This fragrance is the second fragrance in the Christian Siriano Silhouette line. Silhouette in Bloom is the sophisticated, feminine and elegant Christian Siriano vision of women translated into a flowerful fragrance and captures the radiant aura of a glamorous and stylish woman.
A floral woody fragrance, the top notes captivate with a confident and sparkling blend of crisp pear leaves, pink pepper and Italian mandarin, shedding light on a fragrance heart that glows from within.
The Master Perfumer, Honorine Blanc from Firmenich “was inspired by Christian Siriano’s couture fashion.
His designs are sophisticated, feminine, beautifully embellished, and make a dramatic statement that sets him apart from other designers.
I captured these elements in the construction of Evening Chic. “
The middle notes are alluring jasmine petals and precious jasmine sambac that mingle with noble rose for an undeniably feminine fragrance impression.
The base is glowing benzoin, mysterious patchouli and sensual woods which radiate warmth and wrap the fragrance in tempting sensuality like the unforgettable aura of this chic and sophisticated woman.
Blanc “added mysterious and sensual woods that make a statement and wrap the fragrance in drama and intrigue, similar to the emotions you feel when admiring his couture designs.”
